"Negative thoughts and keeping the faith"

Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Over the last year, I have been struggling with negative thoughts and keeping my faith in God. The world is struggling right now and everywhere I see people struggling or just being mean. It seems like every time I turn around something is trying to stop me from moving forward. Normally am pretty good at seeing the good out of everything. I know when you let the negative thoughts in you start to drown in negative thoughts. All you see are the negative things that are happening in your life. This then makes you a miserable person to be around and end up miserable too. Do you want to be miserable?

My answer is NO! Do you like to be around people that just complain and treat you like crap?  No! They want you to be like them; so they bring you down to their level. For this past week; I have been fighting to stay positive and see that God has a great plan for me. I  have had so many little meltdowns over the year. These past few years have been challenging with the pandemic happening.  I have figured out some ways to get out of this area. What are some ways you get yourself out of that negativity hole you are in? For me, I go grab a book or a movie anything that will take me out of the real world for a while. Then I try to get the best sleep possible after I pray to God. Thank him for all the little amazing things that he has given me. From the air I breathe, to the roof over my head, the clothes on my back, and anything else I can think of. My next favorite thing I do is write a letter to my Father (aka God). Once again thank him for everything and tell him about what worries me,  what I dream about what I want out of my life.

When it comes to keeping the faith you just need to KEEP BELIEVING in God and his Angels. They always have your back and are always there to help you as long as you ask. You have to ASK for help. They don't just do it because we have free will.  You have to ASK. I know sometimes this is hard to remember. Nowadays asking and thanking people is not on the top of everybody's list. We need to try and remember our manors and to remember to teach our children. We need to remember  Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." We need to remember to have “Faith Over Fear".  We don’t have to depend on ourselves. We can lean on God and his Angels. God will point us in the right direction. We just need to be open to him and listen for him. Think about who you trust with your life?   Where is God on that list? We need to work on trusting God more for he has a plan for us. Keep the faith, God has our back.

KEEP BELIEVING :)
